Authentik Boom Bap Defined

Authentik Boom Bap
First, let me start by saying, "Authentik" Boom Bap, is my take on what I consider golden age hip hop. Roughly the New York street boom bap from 92-95 that's raw, ruff, and real as fuck.
Authentik boom bap is golden age boom bap from the late '80s early '90s. Mainly like '92-'96. Outside of that range, I personally would define any earlier hip hop as classic hip hop, and anything later as.. idk just the downfall of the golden age. Some great stuff was released in the years after '96, just much less, and much more not so good stuff. The true boom bap sound is defined by artists like Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, ATCQ, DJ Premier (Jeru The Damaja & Gang Starr), Black Moon, and more. If I was to give boom bap a peak, it would definitely be '93-'95. '96 had a lot of great boom bap albums, but in that year you can hear quite an advancement of sound, that just lacks the same authenticity and rawness as the previous years. It's kinda like boom bap won the superbowl in '95 and '96 was the victory lap. It already proved itself so it was just ridin' the top.
It is a sample based artform that samples records. Mainly jazz and soul records from the late '60s/early '90s. It also sampled classic hip hop records, many events of early hip hop tracks and acapellas from the early to mid '80s.
It samples melodies and also drum breaks from the same range of records. Drum breaks are looped or chopped up and layered under a melodic sample, followed by some bars from a rapper.
We talkin bout New York Boom Bap
Street Hop
Boom Bap is separate from Classic Hip Hop. Classic hip hop is much simpler, often just looped breaks and melodies, with a similar rhyme style over the beats. A great era of music, and a different vibe than true boom bap.
